28 illustrations of the streets, public buildings and general view of "The Garden City” - Page 18 - Located on Walnut Street in Newton Centre, Mass - The mortuary chapel was donated by John S. Farlow to commemorate the "virtues and unselfish labors" of Dr. Henry F. Bigelow who died in Newton on January 21, 1866. It is a pure Gothic building with open timbered roof. -
