An exterior view of the front entrance to Young Women's Christian Association located at 122 State Street in Madison, Wisconsin in the early 1930's. The YWCA was founded in New York City in 1858 as the Ladies Christian Association and is regarded as the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world. The YWCA has been in existence in Madison since 1909.
