Streetscape showing both sides of Main Street, part of historic Centre Village. Victorian brick facades are shown with lamp fixtures lining the sidewalk on Main Street. Sign for the Columbia Hotel on the north side of Main. Balcony on the Hartwell Building over the main entrance door. Retractable striped awnings on many of the buildings on the north side of the street. Steeple for Notre Dame and Universalist Church are visible. Busy mix of cars and horse drawn carriages in the downtown. Boy wearing plus fours in the foreground. There is a man in uniform on the right. Large Elm tree obscures the street from Goddard westward. A man is crossing the trolley tracks for the Southbridge Sturbridge Railway Company.
