Description
Hamilton Woolen Company, established in 1831, is located in the Globe Village, the oldest section of Southbridge. This manufacturing hub, took its name from the predecessor of the Hamilton Woolen Co: The Globe Manufacturing Company, when Southbridge was part of the town of Sturbridge. A partial view is given to the four story brick manufacturing plant in the background. Two other single story buildings on view. On both banks of the canal there are trees.
