Description
Serviceman Cuna mustered from Southbridge in the Spanish-American War. Later he also participated in World War I. Soldier Cuna is shown in uniform with his gun aimed at a distant target. He has a belt with pouches on his waist and gaiters around his lower legs. It was noted that he died in Camp Devens of flu. A monument was erected on Hook Street, in memory of the soldiers who participated in the Spanish-American War and another on Elm Street commemorating those that participated in World War I and who lost their lives.
