Description
Residence of the Olds Cook Family, located on the corner of Chapin and Dresser Streets in Southbridge, Massachusetts. A glimpse of the house is given - a wooden structure with a brick foundation and a porch. Steps lead to the front door and porch area, in back of the portrait Cook Monroe is sitting with her son Ralph Augustus Monroe. Standing in the back is her sister: Marion Cook who later became Mrs. Wardwell Edwards, of the Edwards Company (department store). There is a mother and infant in the left of the image that are unidentified. This is the same family that connects to public library donor and businessman: Jacob Edwards.
