Description

The memorial tablet located over the fireplace in the Buckland Public Library, this tablet is made of marble and measures 42 inches high and 52 inches wide.

The tablet is referred to in Fannie Shaw Kendrick's, The History of Buckland 1779-1935, so it has been at the library since at least 1935. The exact installation date is unknown. Note that the tablet is dated 1890 even though the majority of the dates are much later.

The names and dates of donors by gift and legacy are carved into the face of the stone.
