Description
An advertisement for the Edison Business Phonograph, distributed by G.E. Stimpson, Company of Worcester, Massachusetts. The advertisement proclaims that the Edison Business Phonograph operates at twice the speed of the old method while allowing the "men" to dictate when they are ready without being obliged to wait for the stenographer. The G.E. Stimpson Company was founded in 1898 by George E. Stimpson and over the years became a major distributor of office supplies in the Northeast.
