Description
Inside the safety bulletin case, management of the plant has placed a poster which shows and describes how a worker injured his finger while placing his hand on a tire hanging from the overhead track; the worker next to him pushed a tire which smashed one of his fingers. The poster in the case is written both in English and Polish. By 1920, persons born in Poland made up about 9% of the population of Chicopee and many were employed by the Fisk Tire Company.
