Image of two men standing in a penstock. Penstocks are used to convey water under pressure from the collecting pool underneath a dam to the turbines used to power factories. The men are in the process of repairing the grate designed to regulate the flow of water through the penstock. Both men hold hammers. They are standing on a frame of wood. The walls of the penstock surround them showing the large rivets fastening the large metal plates. A pile of wood can be seen in the foreground.
