Description

Image of Hopkinton fire company members posing in motorized vehicle with fire engine in the rear. Front vehicle holds four men, three in formal attire while fireman on the far right is in uniform with fire helmet. Front vehicle has chemical tank on the running board. Fireman in the rear fire engine wears uniform and the engine has Hopkinton imprinted on its hood. Tim Danahy was Hopkinton's fire chief during this time period. The town purchased its first motorized piece of fire fighting equipment in 1915.
