F. Johnston, Sales Mgr. This is a corner view of the building. To the viewer's left is a truck, behind which is either another building or an annex to the factory. The Boston Mat Leather Company was in operation by 1917 and out of business by the late twenties. It occupied the corner on Wallis and Walnut, having 31 Wallis St. and 34 Walnut Street. Morris Cohen, the owner, lived in Beachmont -- Revere -- Massachusetts.
