Description
Civil War veteran's organization member Joseph. H. Clark. He was a member of of Hopkinton's C.C. Phillip's post 14. He wears a Grand Army of the Republic badge and has a G.A.R. emblem on his hat. He also wears spectacles and has a long moustache. The type written label indicates that he served in CO. A. 10th Vermont Infantry. His was one of 35 images framed together and displayed in Hopkinton Public Library for many years. The post was formed in 1882 and disbanded sometime after 1929. Note G.A.R. membership badge with wreath is on his hat, lapel medal has eagle, American flag ribbon and G.A.R. 5 pointed star.
