US troops and tanks leave Cambodia, Band welcomes to South Vietnam. 1) Tanks past on road, men atop, close shots. Pass disabled tank on side of muddy road. Tanks and crowds of disheveled men, Red Cross girls, drinks, band music. (64' sound on film) 2) View from tank, approaching crowd of men and band (playing "The caisson go rolling along.." - Marine hymn). Close-up's of smiling faces. Men hot, sweaty, unshaven, and in great spirits. Bands plays swing number "Tuxedo Junction" etc. Guys doing the Twist together. (Very good atmosphere.) Guys play with monkey. (159' sound on film)
