Perspectives was conceived to be a discussion series discussing subjects of importance to American culture and history. The purpose of each program was to present a detailed analysis of a significant current issue by examining its' historical context and inviting discussion the issue at that point in time. Topics included an examination of the racial crisis in America, the Alliance for Progress, Radiation control and the environment, the state of the newspaper industry in 1962, the role of Unions in America, Soviet foreign policy and school segregation. The series was on air between 1962 nd 1963.
