The Brookline Lyceum Hall, with Washington Street in the foreground (across from where Washington Street intersects with Walnut Street). The Lyceum Hall Pharmacy occupies the left side of the first floor, and the Lyceum Café occupies the right side. The door between the two businesses reads "J.H. Maher Carriage and Harness Manufacturer." A sign on the building to the right of the Lyceum reads "Clattenburgh & Son Coal & Wood."
