Bridgewater State University, Maxwell Library

The Archives and Special Collections at Bridgewater State University's Maxwell Library are home to unique collections chronicling the history of Bridgewater State University and southeastern Massachusetts. The Archives contain university records, publications, photographic prints, newspapers, course catalogs, yearbooks and other resources that document the life and history of the university since its founding in 1840. The Special Collections focus on rare books, manuscript and ephemera collections from many areas, including politics, education, and literature.
