McCormack infroms Paul L. John that Arnold Palmer has recently made him aware of the fact that John is giving some consideration to getting Chevrolet involved in golf. He indicates that he has an unusual idea he would like to tell him about. He discusses the World Championship of Women's Golf and proposes that Chevrolet become the name sponsor of this event. He explains the details of his idea and notes that he is enclosing a recent memorandum from a member of their golf staff, which he thinks may be appropriate to Chevrolet's consideration of this idea. Enclosure not with letter.
