Description:
Formal portrait of the Class Cup 1881. Note on back of photo, 'Awarded to the first graduate of the class to whom a son was born. Awarded to Walter F. Carr.' Accompanying the photo are two letters. One is a letter from W.F. Carr to the Cup Committee written in June 1887 informing them of the birth of his son. The other is also from W.F. Carr written in September 1887 informing the Cup Committee that his son had died.
