Portrait of Edward Asa Hooper, unclassified but possibly a member of the Class of 1912, who enlisted in 1916 to served in World War I. He was assigned to the 101st Field Artillery, 26th Division and fought at Marne and Cha^teau-Thierry. Hooper was killed in action on July 29, 1918 at Marne. "E.A. Hooper" handwritten on front. "M.A.C. Collection, Library of the Massachusetts Agricultural College, Amherst, Mass." stamped on back.
