Includes highlights from En Camino Episodes #304, 306, 307, 308, 309, 310, 311, 312 En Camino explores issues that affect the Latin American community. Its goal is to promote more active participation in society along with the necessary information to make better decisions. This episode presents a summary of the documentaries created between October 1987 and July 1988. The themes selected for this review episode include AIDS and the Latino Community, with emphasis on prevention, prenatal care, domestic violence, housing discrimination, mental health services and the Latin Artistic Movement. These presentations are evidence of the lack of bilingual and bicultural services as well as the marginalization of Latinos through lack of information and low cost services. Each presentation offers a variety of resources for the Latin community to gain access to information, training and accessible services for low income families.
