After being deported from hometown's ghetto and doing forced labor with her parents in the Blizyn concentration camp, she was transported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. In Auschwitz-Birkenau, she and her cousin survived by living in a barracks with twins who underwent medical experiments and she was later reunited with her mother.
