Unused sample of reproduction wallpaper in the "Braintree Stripe" pattern by Waterhouse Wallhangings. Wallpaper has a pattern of alternating vertical stripes. Roller-printed stripe patterns include feather plumes, stylized bows, and six-pointed stars in circles. Roller-printed in blue green, white and brown on a beige ground. The pattern is based on a wallpaper found in the childhood home of General Sylvanus Thayer in South Braintree, MA. Paper was said to have been hung in 1808 to celebrate his graduation from West Point.
