Here we have an ink drawing and a pencil drawing by Helmut Hirsch. In these images, Hirsch has depicted a dock and a factory. The ink drawing of the dock shows a crane moving freight from a docked ship with a worker on the ship. In the pencil drawing, we see Hirsch developing his use of perspective. These drawings give us a glimpse into the industrial life of Stuttgart in the early 1930s.
