Item Text: We stood in front of the Walgreens on Boyleston for most of the day. We had two friends that we were waiting to watch pass by. Once the first friend passed us, we decided to run and grab a drink at Back Bay Social Club sine we had 20 minutes until our next friend was supposed to finish. Since the upstairs bar was crowded, we went in to the basement and ordered our drinks. we were only there for about 10 minutes when we got the BAA notification that our second friend passed the 40K mark, so we rushed up the stairs to go see her. I ran outside (to make sure I didn't miss her) but when I did I knew something was wrong. Although we didn't hear the bombs within the basement, I could tell the scene had changed quickly. There were no cheers and the streets were frantic. A cop yelled at my to get back inside. Back Bay Social club's employees jumped in to action and got everyone out a back door to the public alley and told us to go towards Newbury St. We then walked away from Copley and back to my apartment on the other side of the city.
