A letter to Edward Hitchcock in which Henry J. Van-Lennep writes that he has just learned of Orra White Hitchcock's death. Van-Lennep offers his condolences to Hitchcock and notes that although he hears Hitchcock is in poor health as well, he hopes to visit Amherst and see Hitchcock once more.
