Description:
A letter to Edward Hitchcock in which Benjamin Silliman apologizes for not sending Hitchcock some bones, and later discusses a recent geolocial examination he went on with his son. Silliman requests that Hitchcock come to New Haven, and says that if he does so Silliman will be able to show him a new work by Charles Lyell that is yet unpublished, as well as a new edition by Robert Bakewell.
