An etching of a caricature of Jeffery Amherst by James Sayers, published by Charles Bretherton. The caricature has been referred to in publications as "The Cautious Commander." This is one of two slightly different versions of the print in this collection. "Amherst" has been written in pencil at the bottom of the sheet.
