Edward Hitchcock unnumbered sermon, "Exposition of the 8th Chap. Romans," 1825 April
Description:
A sermon by Edward Hitchcock on the eighth chapter of Romans. He goes through the chapter verse by verse, going into depth about the meaning of certain portions of these verses. Hitchcock admits that some of the verses remain difficult for him to comprehend entirely, but he explains why he believes this is not an issue. He goes on to say that the chapter teaches the doctrine of predestination to eternal life. Hitchcock has noted on the first page that the sermon was delivered in Conway in April 1825.
