A deed certifying that Elijah Boltwood hereby assigns, as part of the Charity Fund, a certain tract of land in Amherst, Massachusetts to the Trustees of Amherst Academy. Various individuals signed or contributed to the document: Boltwood, Nehemiah Gaylord, Amos Gray, H. Wright Strong, and Levi Lyman. The deed is dated September, 1821 (the day is illegible) with later notes dated October 20, 1821 and October 22, 1821.
