My husband and I went with our daughter, a Northeastern University COE student who was in the midst of finals and graduation prep, to help her cope and comprehend the tragedy that had happened in her neighborhood. She, as well as many Bostonians' lives were turned upside down, literally. Her and her friends escaped to our home north of Boston as the police continued their search for the terrorists responsible for the attacks. We salute all the first responders, including the students that were at the finish line, and NU for the way they reached out and how they recognized the horrific events at NU Graduation ceremonies which truly helped all the students in the coping and healing process.
