Springfield College Commencement Program (Summer 1941)
Description:
This program details commencement exercises, held August 8, 1941, at the International YMCA College (now Springfield College) for the summer graduating exercises. During World War II, Springfield College had multiple graduation ceremonies to help facilitate the transfer dates of students leaving for service in the War. The program outlines the schedule of events, lists the degrees given, and talks about the Summer School Dinner which followed the graduation exercises. The Commencement address was given by Dr. William E. McCormack.
