Description:
A program for the one hundred and twenty seventh undergraduate commencement ceremonies of Springfield College held in 2013. This pamphlet starts with a description of the commencement exercises, including songs, prayers, commencement address, conferring of degrees, the Honorary Degree candidates, to then finish with a list of the members of the graduating class. Elizabeth Warren, US Senator, gave the commencement address.

Elizabeth Warren is recognized as one of the nation's top experts on bankruptcy and was widely credited for the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Senator Warren was a law professor for more than 30 years, including nearly 20 years as the Leo Gottlieb Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. The graduating class at Harvard twice recognized her with the Sacks-Freund Award for excellence in teaching. She taught courses on commercial law, contracts, and bankruptcy and wrote more than a hundred articles and ten books, including three national best-sellers. Honorary degrees were conferred to Elizabeth Warren and Raymond A. Jordan.
