A brochure of a study abroad summer program offered by the Springfield College International Academy to YMCA members in Japan. The brochure is mostly written in Japanese, with some course names in English. The program was set to begin in April, 1989.

The summer program was a coordinated effort by Professor Charles Smith, Dr. Kenneth A. Wall (director of the college’s international center) and Michihiko Kobayashi-En(Tokyo YMCA general secretary) and Coach Yutaka Mizutani. The program included courses in TOEFL, and English Composition. The brochure offers a description of the courses that were part of the summer program, including English Laboratory, English Written and Oral, Psychology, Intro to computer concepts, Aerobics and Counseling. The brochure also offers information on tuition, schedules, and other related matters in studying in the US. The main photograph showed on the first page depicts Judd the side entrance of Judd Gymnasia. On the following pages there are group photographs of Springfield College students.
