Both are standing in their warm-up sweats, and Kate has her arm around the younger teammate. Kate won the "Champion" award for the 1992-93 school year for the collegiate athletic conference, North East 10 (NE-10). Her teammate won the Rookie of the Year Award.

Notes:
Kathryn J. Meehan was a graduate of Springfield College in 1993. She was on both the Cross Country and the Track and Field teams during her time at Springfield College, earning Division II All-American in cross county in 1991 and 1992 and for 1500 meter (Indoor) and 3,000 meter (Indoor/Outdoor) in Track for 1992. She was inducted into the Springfield College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.
