Letter from Robert E. Dillon to Henry Dillon and Mary Dillon
Description:
Addressed to "Dear Folks." Handwritten. Writes that he will have five weeks of basic infantry drill and then eight weeks of technical school. He has applied for clerical training, but thinks he will be assigned as much needed mechanic, asks for some documents. Gives his route from Massachusetts to Virginia. The weather is not great, but it is a clean post with above average food.
