"We the people of Cambridge and surrounding towns are opposed to the action being taken by the Cambridge City Council with regard to the sale of novelty buttons in Harvard Square! We hereby let it known by the and to the people involved our feelings." The petition, circulated by Don Levy, co-owner of Krackerjacks clothing store, includes the signatures of Jay Rockefeller, Harvey Cox, and a 16-year old Jonathan Richman.
