Phil is well and hopes that he will be able to return home for a few days soon. He received "a dandy outfit" from the red cross and acquired some additional sweaters that he hopes to bring home for Harry and Millard. He got to do some carpentry work building chests for the medical department and has heard no complaints so far. Art told him that he bought a new car and seems to be having a good time.
