The back car, 5881?, has a sign that appears to say "Christmas Festival," followed by illegible lines. There is snow on the ground. Probably taken in December, c. 1950. Type 5 cars were in operation from 1922 to 1959. on back is written:" This picture is of MTA Type 5 #5825 at the exit of the north side yard at Arlington Heights. Ca. 1950. Note that the carbarns have been taken down by this time."
