Lynching of Thomas Harold Thurmond and John M. Holmes
Description:
Copy image: 'The crush to see the double lynching of John Holmes and Thomas Thurmond at San Jose, Cal., Nov. 25, was duplicated by another crush of souvenir hunters, eager to get bits of rope, tree limbs, etc. used in the St. Jame Park Executions. Some of them are shown whittling off pieces of one of the trees used for gibbets. Acme.'
