Letter from Mark H. McCormack to Philip E. Beekman
Description:
McCormack asks Beekman to think about the "Wimbledon Whistle" problem before Wimbledon this year. The All English Tennis Club has been working to keep people from using the Wimbledon name without first getting permission. McCormack suggests that Seagrams & Sons, Inc. give a "modest payment" of $10,000 to the Club to avail themselves of their facilities for advertising and promotion.
