McCormack writes Joseph Carrico to confirm the discussions they had at Wimbledon with Slew and Merv, during which McCormack expressed interest in undertaking the merchandising of the U. S. Open Tennis Championships on a worldwide basis. He explains the ideas he has with reference to the matter, which he would like to turn into a long-term relationship that would be meaningful to both parties. He explains that they should work out an arrangement with reference to compensation and expresses interest in discussing this letter further at the time of the U. S. Open, and to hopefully finalize some sort of an arrangement.
