Submission text: Self Friend Assume you heard, but MBTA shut down, don't answer the door, check the news. Yrs thx *** us closed They're saying don't answer the door now? Yikes Friend This is a text message from April 19th, the morning that Boston and some surrounding towns were on lockdown. I work at a university and we were closed for the day. I live out in a suburban area. This text is from a friend who takes the same train as I do and he wanted to make sure I knew not to go in to work that day. I removed the name of my place of employment to protect my privacy.
