There are 14 metal bars placed in the wire frame, with some of them placed on top of each other. There is a strip of white cloth padding running down the middle and nailed to the frame. 2 strips of pink polyester cloth, labeled as 1984.10.1B, are placed between the metal bars, showing how it works, and were probably placed there at the time of donation (catalogued as 1984.10.1B). There appears to be a compartment on the back that may hold more metal bars, but it is not possible to easily open that compartment.
