Ice cutting photo, 1851 condition - fair, stained 9 3/8 x 13 1/4 - black frame Horses, ice house framed by Doane's, Arlington Accession sheet said "was #54" next to the accession number From Duffy: "This 1858 illustration in Ballou's Pictorial depicts the Addison Gage Company's ice cutters at work on Spy Pond. A branch of the Fitchburg main line that was known as the "ice railroad" carried the sawdust-packed product to the docks at Charlestown for shipment around the world." Note: There is another photo between the cardboard frame and black paper back. One corner is visible with "#1" printed on it. The photo seems to be glued to both the cardboard and black paper. -MRH, Aug. 2021
