The consul of Mexico in Los Angeles, Jose Angel Pescador Osuna, detailed some of the changes made to the law that will extend dual nationality to Mexicans living abroad. Among the main changes is one that will allow all Mexicans who have become citizens of a foreign country to maintain their Mexican nationality, as long as they complete the paperwork within 5 years after the law becomes effective.
