McCormack responds to M. J. Connor's letter of April 15th and informs him that Gary Player would not play the Chardon golf exhibition without participating in the American Golf Classic. He suggests that Connor write Mr. Hardy a letter, with a copy to him, giving Player a release to play the exhibition in Chardon, Ohio, only if he enters and plays the American Golf Classic. McCormack congratulates Connor on his recent promotion and expresses interest in getting together with him sometime.
