Concerning the Jack Nicklaus Pontiac affiliation. McCormack notes several prerequisites to the affiliation: that Nicklaus would be out of business with any of Pontiac's competitors for a lengthy period of time; that Nicklaus would have total identification with Pontiac in a wide variety of areas; that Nicklaus would receive no less than $50,000 per year; and that Pontiac would receive unlimited rights to use Nicklaus' name. NcCormack also notes the discussion they had concerning Nicklaus possibly narrating the U. S. Open and/or British Open films.
