Minutes of meeting of Citizens' Committee on Sacco-Vanzetti Case, April 7, 1927
Description:
Here we have a copy of the minutes of the meeting of the Citizens' Committee on Sacco-Vanzetti. Felix Frankfurter has written a brief note to Mr. John F. Moors about the enclosed minutes from the meeting that took place in Mr. Moors office. The minutes provide a list of members present as well as an action plan for the defense for Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti. The case of Sacco-Vanzettit emphasized bias and corruption within the Department of Justice as well as the Massachusetts court system. Even decades after their deaths, the committee continued their work to exonerate Sacco and Vanzetti.
