McCormack apologizes for having to write this letter, but explains that Hughes developed an arrangement for Aoki to play in Melbourne, which Aoki agreed to do. There was a lot of advertising done for "Aoki to be major star at 1981 Victorian Open." McCormack was shocked to learned that Aoki was planning to play the Hawaiian Open instead of the Victorian Open and explains his company will lose face if Aoki does not play in Melbourne. McCormack stresses the importance of Aoki honoring his commitment and notes that IMG's reputation and credibility is at stake.
